Georgia High School Basketball - Islands overwhelmed by Long County

December 13, 2024: Ludowici, GA 31316

In Friday's league test, the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), by a score of 82-29.

Next, the Blue Tide clash with the St. Andrew's Lions (Savannah, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 14. Long County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 53-29 non-league win over Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC).

The Sharks (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Groves (Garden City, GA). The Rebels come into the AAA Region 3 test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Groves was routed by Jenkins (Savannah, GA), 64-60, in a league test.
