With the victory, Cherokee Bluff advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Bears host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 3-4. Gilmer won 69-25 in their recent league battle against Ridgeland (Rossville, GA)
The Lions now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pendleton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. Franklin County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.
