December 14, 2021: San Manuel, AZ 85631 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the San Manuel Miners (San Manuel, AZ) and the visiting Superior Panthers (Superior, AZ), saw San Manuel's basketball squad wallop Superior by a tally of 73-31.
With the victory, San Manuel improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Miners host Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ) to confront the Centurions in a 1A East challenge on Friday, December 17. The Centurions come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Cicero Prep Academy won 74-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Sequoia Charter (Mesa, AZ)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) in a 1A East challenge, on Thursday, December 16. Superior will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 62-60 non-league win over Sequoia Charter (Mesa, AZ).
