December 14, 2021: Bridgewater, VA 22812 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) and the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA), saw Turner Ashby's basketball squad wallop Wilson Memorial by a tally of 56-29.
With the victory, Turner Ashby improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA) to confront the Indians in a Valley challenge on Friday, December 17. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Fort Defiance won 75-36 in their recent league challenge against Broadway (Broadway, VA)
Next up, the Green Hornets confront the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 21. Wilson Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 45-42 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
