Arkansas High School Basketball - Fayetteville holds off Cabot
December 14, 2023: Cabot, AR 72023 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Fayetteville Bulldogs (Fayetteville, AR) and the host Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR), saw Fayetteville's basketball squad hold off Cabot by a tally of 47-42.
With the victory, Fayetteville improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to confront the Grizzlies in a 6A West challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Northside won 61-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AR)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Rogers Heritage War Eagles (Rogers, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Cabot will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 38-34 non-league loss to Van Buren (Van Buren, AR).
