New York High School Basketball - East Rochester toppled by Avoca Central
December 14, 2024: East Rochester, NY 14445 Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host East Rochester Bombers (East Rochester, NY), 54-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Avoca Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Tigers host Wayland-Cohocton (Wayland, NY) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, December 16. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Bombers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamson for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. East Rochester will face a Marauders squad coming off a 49-30 non-league loss to Gananda Central (Walworth, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 0-1.
