Ohio High School Basketball - Port Clinton crushes Hopewell-Loudon
December 15, 2020: Port Clinton, OH 43452 Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), 65-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Port Clinton upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Redskins travel to Vermilion (Vermilion, OH) to clash with the Sailors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 19. The Sailors go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Vermilion won 47-46 in their recent league game against Bellevue (Bellevue, OH)
With the defeat, Hopewell-Loudon moves to 2-2 on the year. The Chieftains travel to St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH) to face the Crimson Streaks in a Sandusky Bay - River game on Thursday, December 17. The Crimson Streaks enter the game with a record of 2-2. St. Joseph Central Catholic lost 72-47 in their recent league game against Old Fort (Old Fort, OH)
