Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) and the host Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), saw Crawford County's basketball squad overcome Pike County by a tally of 50-39.

With the victory, Crawford County improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Taylor County (Butler, GA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Taylor County lost 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Pike County will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
