In Thursday's league outing, the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) basketball squad edged the host Minden Whippets (Minden, NE), by a margin of 54-51.

The Patriots (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Fillmore Central held off Thayer Central (Hebron, NE), 41-38, in a league outing.
