Illinois High School Basketball - Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley crushes Blue Ridge
December 15, 2022: Farmer City, IL 61842 Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), 55-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Paxton-Buckley-Loda won 35-29 in their recent league bout against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL)
Next up, the Knights play the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 83-25 non-league win over Decatur Lutheran (Decatur, IL).
