North Carolina High School Basketball - West Charlotte nips Hopewell

West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC), 64-63 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Charlotte upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Titans play the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Hopewell will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record.
