December 15, 2023: Portland, OR 97229 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the host Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), saw Sheldon's basketball squad knock off Sunset by a tally of 60-50.
With the victory, Sheldon improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Irish host Putnam (Milwaukie, OR) to play the Kingsmen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Kingsmen come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Putnam won 65-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR)
Next up, the Apollos play the Lakeridge Pacers (Lake Oswego, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Sunset will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Pacers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 65-60 non-league loss to Putnam (Milwaukie, OR).
