Washington High School Basketball - Lynden crushes Meridian
December 16, 2021: Lynden, WA 98264 Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 73-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Lynden upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Lions host Eastlake (Sammamish, WA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 18. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Eastlake lost 76-41 in their recent league bout against Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 64-26 league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA).
