In Thursday's non-league match, the host West Point Dragons basketball team scored a tight 51-45 triumph over the Metro Tech Knights.

In their next game, the Dragons meet the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 4. West Point will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.

With the defeat, Metro Tech moves to 5-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, January 1. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-3.
