Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 57-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lynden upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Lions host Eastlake (Sammamish, WA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 18. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Eastlake won 56-54 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 70-27 non-league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA).
