The Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC), 70-62 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Cocke County (Newport, TN). The Fighting Cocks go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Cocke County notched a victory over Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN), 52-38, in a non-league test.
