The Buena Bulldogs basketball team scored 32 points and restricted the host Thousand Oaks Lancers to 30 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marcos for a contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Lancers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Golden Valley was nudged by Saugus (Saugus, CA), 54-4, in a league contest.
