The Forreston Cardinals basketball team (Forreston, IL), was overwhelmed 47-14 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL)

The Wildcats now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newman Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. River Ridge/Scales Mound will confront a Comets team coming off a 56-50 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Comets record now stands at 5-7.
