Illinois High School Basketball - Hononegah tops Naperville Central
December 16, 2023: Naperville, IL 60540 Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 52-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hononegah upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Richwoods (Peoria, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Richwoods won 90-23 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Champaign, IL)
Next up, the Redhawks play the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Naperville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Maroons come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 59-55 league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL).
