The Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) basketball were winner over the visiting Greenway Demons (Phoenix, AZ), 73-54 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Buena Vista for a non-league bout on Friday, December 26.

The Demons (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Buffaloes come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Tempe was knocked off by Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ), 62-56, in a non-league battle.
