Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) and the host Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD), saw New Underwood's basketball squad overcome Hill City by a tally of 50-30.

With the victory, New Underwood improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 5. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Rapid City Christian won 67-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Lyman (Presho, SD)
