American Leadership Academy Patriots (Queen Creek, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV), 65-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, American Leadership Academy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Amplus Academy (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Archers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 18. The Archers go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Amplus Academy won 42-30 in their recent non-league bout against Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Del Sol Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 18. Moapa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 69-34 non-league loss to Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV).
