The DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) basketball crushed the host Waxahachie Indians (Waxahachie, TX), 63-42 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes go into the 6A Region II District 11 test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Duncanville walloped Waco (Waco, TX), 84-28, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Midway for a 6A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, December 21. Waxahachie will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 45-42 league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.
