In Friday's non-league outing, the Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE) basketball squad felled the host Stanton Mustangs (Stanton, NE), by a margin of 52-42.

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Westwood thwarted Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA), 63-12, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pender for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 18. Stanton will encounter a Pendragons squad coming off a 59-54 non-league loss to Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE). The Pendragons record now stands at 3-2.
