Virginia High School Basketball - Spotswood crushes Riverbend
December 17, 2022: Fredericksburg, VA 22407 Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA), 73-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Spotswood upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA) to play the Little Giants in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Little Giants come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Waynesboro won 35-34 in their recent non-league bout against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA)
Next up, the Bears play the Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) in a Commonwealth bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Riverbend will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 60-49 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).
