December 17, 2022: Mescalero, NM 88340 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM) and the visiting Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM), saw Mescalero Apache's basketball squad wallop Maxwell by a tally of 62-16.
With the victory, Mescalero Apache improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to confront the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Chaparral lost 64-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Roswell (Roswell, NM)
Next up, the Bears confront the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Maxwell will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
