Washington, DC High School Basketball - Banneker overwhelms Bell

December 18, 2019: Washington, DC 20010

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) and the host Bell Griffins (Washington, DC), saw Banneker's basketball squad wallop Bell by a tally of 43-9.

With the victory, Banneker improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Eastern (Washington, DC) to confront the Ramblers in a DCSAA AA challenge on Friday, December 20. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Eastern won 53-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD)

Next up, the Griffins confront the McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA AA challenge, on Friday, December 20. Bell will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Trainers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 50-17 league win over School Without Walls (Washington, DC).
