Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Aspen can't get by Resurrection Christian
December 18, 2021: Aspen, CO 81611 Resurrection Christian Cougars (Loveland, CO) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the host Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO), 2-1 in a non-league match.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Standley Lake (Westminster, CO). The Gators enter the 5A North match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Standley Lake was nipped by Centaurus (Lafayette, CO), 3-2, in a league match.
Next up, the Skiers clash with the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) in a 4A Mountain match, on Friday, January 7. Aspen will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 5-2 league win over Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO).
