Maryland High School Basketball - Paint Branch triumphant over Northwood
December 18, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20901 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) and the host Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), observed Paint Branch's basketball team overwhelm Northwood by a margin of 88-47.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD). The Blue Devils come into the Montgomery County - 3A East challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Springbrook trounced Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD), 86-74, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD) in a Montgomery 4A South challenge, on Friday, December 20. Northwood will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 65-25 non-league loss to Damascus (Damascus, MD).
