The Mountain View Mountain Lions basketball squad (Tucson, AZ), was outscored 52-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Yuma Catholic Shamrocks (Yuma, AZ)

With the victory, Yuma Catholic advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, December 19. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 5-0. North Valley Christian Academy won 57-44 in their recent non-league battle against Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ)

The Mountain Lions now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rincon/University for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 6. Mountain View will encounter a Rangers team coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Rangers record now stands at 2-6.
