December 19, 2022: Bethesda, MD 20814 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) and the visiting Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD), saw Walter Johnson's basketball squad hold off Whitman by a tally of 48-42.
With the victory, Walter Johnson improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Churchill (Potomac, MD) to play the Bulldogs in a Montgomery County - 4A South challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Churchill won 63-28 in their recent league challenge against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD)
Next up, the Vikings play the Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Whitman will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 46-38 non-league win over Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD).
