Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA), 66-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop Ireton upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to clash with the Eagles in a DCSAA AA bout on Friday, December 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Gonzaga won 71-59 in their recent league bout against St. John's (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Fairfax Christian Cardinals (Dulles, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
