Alabama High School Basketball - Daphne tops Tuscaloosa County
December 19, 2023: Northport, AL 35475 Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL), 56-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Daphne upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 17-0. Chelsea won 44-38 in their recent non-league bout against Oxford (Oxford, AL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Vestavia Hills Rebels (Vestavia Hills, AL) in a 7A Area 5 bout, on Friday, January 5. Tuscaloosa County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record.
