California High School Basketball - Highland triumphant over Lancaster

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA) and the host Lancaster Eagles (Lancaster, CA), observed Highland's basketball team overwhelm Lancaster by a score of 58-36.

The Bulldogs (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Hoover trounced San Ysidro (San Diego, CA), 67-22, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Lancaster will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 72-49 non-league loss to Royal (Simi Valley, CA).
