In Friday's non-league bout, the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) basketball team edged the visiting KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC), by a tally of 53-48.

The Panthers now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Destiny Prep Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 26. Pasquotank County will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 68-44 non-league loss to Butler (Chicago, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
