Cuero Gobblers (Cuero, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX), 58-56 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Cuero improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Gobblers travel to Wimberley (Wimberley, TX) to confront the Texans in a non-league test on Friday, December 9. The Texans come into the test with a record of 14-0. Wimberley won 49-30 in their recent non-league test against Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX)

With the loss, Silsbee drops to 13-1 on the campaign.
