In Friday's non-league outing, the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mead Raiders (Mead, NE), by a margin of 50-27.

The Thunderbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Trojans go into the C2 District 1 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Tri County was trounced by Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE), 36-26, in a league outing.
