Missouri High School Basketball - Lexington overwhelms Penney
December 2, 2024: Hamilton, MO 64644 The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Penney Hornets to 34 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Monday.
The Minutemen now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Excelsior Springs for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Lexington will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-37 non-league loss to Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
