In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Morgan Township Cherokees basketball team scored a good 36-20 triumph over the Hanover Central Wildcats.

The Cherokees (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, DeMotte Christian was toppled by Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN), 45-31, in a non-league outing.
