December 20, 2022: Winchester, VA 22603 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) and the visiting Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA), saw Millbrook's basketball squad overcome Heritage by a tally of 56-48.
With the victory, Millbrook improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA) to confront the Cougars in a Northwestern challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Kettle Run lost 53-52 in their recent league challenge against Sherando (Stephens City, VA)
Next up, the Pride confront the Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA).
