Illinois High School Basketball - LeRoy tops Meridian
December 20, 2022: Macon, IL 62544 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) and the host Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL), saw LeRoy's basketball squad knock off Meridian by a count of 62-46.
With the victory, LeRoy upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Eureka (Eureka, IL) to play the Hornets in a Heart Of Illinois challenge on Monday, January 2. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the Hawks play the Lutheran/Calvary Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
