The Newtown Nighthawks bounced the host Cromwell Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 75-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Nighthawks face the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) in a Southwest outing, on Friday, January 3. Newtown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Green Wave enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 58-51 non-league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT).
