The East Greenwich Avengers ice hockey team scored 8 points and held the visiting West Warwick Wizards to 4 in the Avengers league victory on Friday.

The Avengers now own a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Kingstown for a bout on Thursday, December 26. East Greenwich will play a Skippers team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, West Warwick moves to 0-3 on the season. The Wizards host Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26.
