In Saturday's non-league test, the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) basketball squad edged the host Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA), by a tally of 56-50.

The Indians now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to East Union for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 23. Ripon will play a Lancers team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Bear Creek (Stockton, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Hoopa Valley falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Fortuna (Fortuna, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-10.
