The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets basketball squad (Thomasville, GA), was routed 57-32 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA)

The Vikings (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Breckinridge County (Harned, KY). The Fighting Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Breckinridge County trounced Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY), 68-54, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets meet the Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 26. Thomas County Central will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 73-43 league win over Miller County (Colquitt, GA).
