December 21, 2021: Albany, GA 31707 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA) and the host Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA), saw Wheeler County's basketball squad overcome Deerfield-Windsor by a tally of 61-50.
With the victory, Wheeler County improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Dublin (Dublin, GA) to confront the Fighting Irish in a A Public Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 28. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Dublin won 83-35 in their recent league challenge against Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 28. Deerfield-Windsor will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Savannah (Savannah, GA).
