December 21, 2022: Roswell, NM 88203 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM), saw Volcano Vista's basketball squad wallop Roswell by a tally of 75-37.
With the victory, Volcano Vista improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Matadors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Sandia won 75-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Clovis (Clovis, NM)
Next up, the Coyotes confront the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Roswell will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 75-57 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
