Georgia High School Basketball - Central Gwinnett ripped by Lumpkin County
December 21, 2022: Dahlonega, GA 30533 The Lumpkin County Indians basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Central Gwinnett Black Knights to 49 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Indians now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Collins Hill for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Lumpkin County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 62-40 non-league win over New Faith Christian Academy (Stockbridge, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
The Black Knights (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Apalachee triumphed over Northview (Johns Creek, GA), 41-37, in a non-league contest.
