December 21, 2023: Aberdeen, MD 21001 Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) followers went home content Thursday as they observed their basketball team smash the host Aberdeen Eagles (Aberdeen, MD), 99-61 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Dons face the McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) in a MIAA A - Red game, on Friday, January 5. Loyola Blakefield will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.
With the defeat, Aberdeen moves to 4-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Dunbar (Baltimore, MD) to face the Poets in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 26. The Poets enter the game with a record of 2-1. Dunbar won 71-64 in their recent non-league game against Suitland (Forestville, MD)
