The South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) basketball were winner over the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), 67-57 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Sauras now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Airy for a 1A Northwest bout on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, North Surry falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host West Stokes (King, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27.
